Former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is taking heat for having scribbled notes on her hand at the National Tea Party Convention in Nashville over the weekend. Palin, who was paid a $100,000 fee to attend the convention, appeared to look down and study her hand before answering a question during the Q&A.
The Seattle Post Intelligencer posted a close up image of Palin's left hand, which showed the notes as "Energy," "Budget," "Tax" and a desire to "Lift American spirit."

Palin, who was hired as a FOX News analyst one month ago, gave a speech at the convention and seemed to mock President Obama for his use of a TelePrompter.

Despite the high price tag that attendees paid to see Palin in person, the crowd often seemed to get behind the former vice-presidential candidate. The audience chanted Palin's name and were overheard encouraging the former Governor to run for president in 2012.
While Palin has not committed one way or another to running for president, she went on Fox News on Sunday and said that she would consider the idea if it was right for her family.
