Episode 2 of "V" wasn't as exciting as last week's intriguing pilot, but the story continued to progress and revealed some interesting nuggets of information.
With the real possibility that humans one has known for years could indeed be Visitors, the theme of episode 2 was simple--trust no one. That's easier said than done, as a frightened Father Jack went to the FBI with photos he received from a dying man in his church in last week's episode.
Erica remained on high alert, telling her rebellious son to not mingle with the V's after she discovered that her partner Dale was part lizard. Of course, Tyler continues to defy his mother, secretly working for the Visitors' Young Ambassadors while his teenage hormones run rampant for Lisa.
Ryan continues to get sucked back into a life he's desperately tried to conceal from his girlfriend Valerie. Despite a large gash on his arm from the pilot episode, Valerie remains none the wiser in episode 2. Ryan, however, begins to realize that his love for her might be the one thing that makes her a target of the V's.
News anchor Chad Decker attempted to gain an upper hand on the V's High Commander Anna, as he told his large television audience on-air that the V's could potentially not be what they seem.
The end of the episode provided a bit of a surprise--Dale isn't as dead as we thought. In fact, while on board the V's spaceship, he was seemingly brought back to life before the episode faded to black.
Does that mean a Visitor can't be killed? ABC's "V" continues to ask more questions than it answers, and after two episodes, that's a good thing.
If you missed either the pilot of episode 2 of "V," be sure to stop by on Wednesday to watch both episodes in HD.
