David Letterman graces EW cover without pants

On newsstands now is the latest issue of Entertainment Weekly which features David Letterman--without pants.
In discussing the issue of the Letterman scandal and celebrity extortion, EW has decided to go the way of the provocative cover.
Similar in vein to Playboy's new cover, which features Marge Simpson in the buff, the new issue of EW discusses the obstacles that Letterman must overcome now that he has revealed his sexual encounters without Late Show staffers.
Just one week ago, Letterman revealed to an incredulous studio audience that he was allegedly extorted for $2 million by Robert Halderman, a producer of 48 Hours.
After giving his testimony to a grand jury, Letterman revealed that he previously had had an affair. Days later, Letterman apologized to his wife Regina Lasko, saying she was "horribly hurt" by the entire situation.

Comments
wow.
so the comment I made earlier about that photo not being Letterman at all, simply his head photoshopped onto a pantless model, has been deleted.
Great forum you are running here.
A bastion of free speech...
Your comment was not deleted for any shady reason. It was deleted because it was inaccurate.
Neither the Examiner article, nor Entertainment Weekly, attempted to suggest that David Letterman conducted a photo shoot in the midst of his extortion-affair controversy without his pants--most realize that obviously wasn't the case.
Illustration or not, the image depicts the 'Late Show' host in his underwear, which is what the article is informing readers about. Your comment was insinuating something that simply wasn't true.
