Brooke Hundley is finally speaking out, and Good Morning America was lucky enough to snag the much-anticipated interview.
On Thursday, Brooke Hundley--the young woman who had an affair with former ESPN analyst Steve Phillips--talked with Kate Snow on Good Morning America about the affair and the alleged threats that she made toward Phillips' estranged wife, Marni.
When asked why she kept her silence about the affair, Hundley said: "I was in a situation where I felt like if I didn't do what was asked of me, then everything I had worked for, for the past six years, everything I had done to establish myself as a successful media professional, could be gone like that."
Hundley also stated that since the affair went public, her reputation has been at its absolute lowest point.
"I've been called things by the public that no woman should ever be called," she said.
Hundley has also had to deal with public jokes that reach a mainstream audience. On "The Jay Leno Show," Leno compared a photo of Hundley to Phillips' wife Marni and quipped, "What was he thinking?"
"I had a friend come stay with me because he was concerned...that mentally I would not be able to take much more," Hundley said, as her eyes welled with tears.
While Hundley denies harassing Phillips' wife and children, she wishes she could alter some of her past decisions.
"I did things I regret, obviously," she added. "People make mistakes at 22."
