Beyonce special called 'Beyonce...I Am Yours' aired on Thanksgiving night

On Thursday, the alphabet network aired "Beyonce...I Am Yours," a Thanksgiving Day special that was part concert, part behind-the-scenes footage. The show featured a Beyonce performance from Las Vegas intertwined with unseen images of Beyonce, her life off-stage, and moments from her childhood.

While performing her "I Am..." concert tour in the U.K. this past week, Beyonce suggested that she would be releasing a new album in 2010.
"This is my last show for this tour in the U.K., so hopefully, I'll see you all in a year with a new album," Beyonce told the crowd.

It was later confirmed on Twitter, where popular producer Rodney "Darkchild" Jerkins tweeted that he's currently working on new tracks for Beyonce's upcoming album.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, Beyonce's 2008 album, "I Am...Sasha Fierce," sold 2.5 million copies in the United States.
