According to a December 8th announcement by The Hollywood Reporter, Eric Northman's (Alexander Skarsgard) vicious blond vixen sidekick Pam (Kristin Bauer) will be securing a much more permanent role on the hit HBO vampire series, True Blood, in the upcoming third season, which debutes in June.
Bauer made an appearance in approximately 11 episodes over the course of the first two seasons, assisting Eric Northman in his role as Louisiana Vampire Sheriff and owner of the vamp-bar "Fangtasia". However, executive producer Alan Ball has recently confirmed that Pam will begin to play a more intregral part in the overall storyline in Season 3 with a "meatier" plot including a possible lesbian relationship.
With her feisty, snarky dialogue and devilsh sense of style, the perfect match for Eric's own enslavement to fashion, Pam's promotion on the show to a more intregral part will definitely be one change which True Blood fans will welcome.
