This is me living Paris.
Designer Paul Coudamy has hit the sweet spot in his small space adaptation which he calls the Red Nest.
Because space in any city is at a premium, designers are rising to the need to fulfill the desire for deluxe living within a confined area. This apartment is about 250 square feet. And has a living space that includes a bedroom, dressing, area, living room --- and home office!
The key, and there always is a key, is the ingenious use of a bookshelf that slides to reveal the bedroom and changing area. The Red Nest is lined with mirrors to add the illusion of space where none exists.
Small space living is a challenge, but this Red Nest apartment in Paris shows that sacrificing design quality and appeal is not a sacrifice one needs to make.
