Appearing on The View, President Obama quipped,
"You don't want two presidents at one wedding,"
when asked if he was going to Chelsea Clinton's wedding. Actually, the Obamas were not invited MSNBC reports.
"I think Hillary and Bill, properly, want to keep this thing for Chelsea and her soon-to-be husband,"
he said modestly.
About his daughter's wedding Obama said the audience shouldn't hold their breath.
"Sorry, y'all probably will not be getting invited to Sasha’s wedding or Malia’s wedding, either,"
Obama said the critics of his appearance on the day time talker were out of line. Again, quipping to a friendly audience...
"I was trying to find a show that Michelle actually watched"
He touched on some hard news topics too, not just fluff, citing economic troubles, the BP oil spill, and the swine flu "pandemic."
The show—the first appearance by a sitting president on a daytime talk show—aired today.
