Okay, Eva Longoria says she is "somewhat" allergic to perfumes in an interview with WWD. So the Desperate Housewives star is launching her own perfume called... Eva. (Perfumes have such original names!)
So the Falic Fashion Group says April will smell like Eva, a mix of citrus, neroli, bergamot tea, heart of jasmine, violet, freesia, musk, amber and sandalwood.
1.7 ounce eau de parfum will retail for $45. Since Longoria feels she is "somewhat" allergic, she wanted to make a perfume that any woman can wear.
The curvaceous bottle was designed by Wilhelm Liden at Paul Meyers & Friends and manufactured by Bormioli Luigi. The scent will be sold in department stores like Macy's, Dillard's and Bon-Ton.
“Eva was involved from Day One with all aspects of the project,” said Falic. “At the end of the day, it’s about Eva. She wanted something different, so we designed quite a few different [versions].”
“I never knew how complicated it was to create a unique scent that hasn’t already been done,” said Longoria Parker. “But I enjoyed the process.”
Desperate Housewives fragrances are already on the market, but Eva is unaffiliated officially with the hit program.
