Alexander McQueen put models in 12 inch platform shoes
Twelve inch heels were the chat at the Alexander McQueen catwalk show in Paris.
The 12 inch high shoes were from a collection inspired by Charles Darwin's Origin of the Species.
The 12 inch heels may be McQueen's idea of ultimate chic, but it's unlikely these shoes went anywhere but up and down the catwalk.
These heels may appeal to the Lady GaGa groupies, who was represented at the fashion show by her ownself. Lady GaGa provided music for the show, premiering her new single, Bad Romance.
No doubt Lady GaGa was pleasantly pleased by the runway models with hair looking like horns and fashions made of all kinds of elaborate skins. Feather-like ruffles and printed fabrics resembled warrior-like breastplates.

Like most of Alexander McQueens designs, Vivienne Westwood has been there and done that, right down to the purple crocodile skin. I feel so embarassed for these avant-garde designers who are embracing Lady Gaga like some sort of gift from heaven. When in the long run they're just going to cringe everytime they look back at their association with some flash in the pan pop star.
i wonder if those hurt ur feet?!
wow .. that looks painful, poor models
awesome!!! I want 2 walk in those!
