The TradeWinds Island Grand Resort, which is located on St Pete Beach in Florida, is offering a special vacation package for you and your pet. This ultra pet-friendly AAA Four-Diamond and eco-friendly resort allows two pets per room with a maximum size of 80 pounds per pet. The resort features a leash-free Pet Play Zone, a designated pet walk area around scenic waterways with a pet-friendly hammock overlooking the beach, and a special dog and cat room service menu. The package, Fido's Fabulous Fall Adventure, includes the following:
- Two nights/Three days accommodation in a pet-friendly one-bedroom suite - located in the Allamanda building, close to the pet areas. Each suite features a bedroom, living room area and a small kitchen.
- Nightly Pet Fee (usually $30 per pet/per night) - Includes access to the Pet Play Zone, the Pet Walk and the Pet Accessory Center
- Bow Wow WOW Pet Amenity Kit - Includes the TradeWinds signature bandana, a special toy and other treats for your pet
- Resort Amenity Fee (usually $25 per day) - Includes unlimited use of two-person beach cabanas, paddleboats, fitness center, mini-golf, tennis, beach volleyball, wireless internet, self-parking, children's programs (extra fee for some activities), daily newspaper, local and credit card access calls, business center services and an in-room safe.
Pet owners are required to fill out a pet policy agreement form prior to arrival. Copies of your pet's current health certificate showing proof of rabies vaccination also have to be faxed to the resort no more than 10 days prior to arrival. For more information about the pet policy, click here.
