If you are bored of the same old travel routine, the same old hotels and the same old itineraries, no fear, there are other aberrant options you can try. Maybe you are in the mood to raise a few eyebrows with some bizarre travel. All you need to do is think outside the box.
Or in this case, think like a few crazy Austrians with a rather unique sense of humor. A giant pink rabbit was the brain child of Gelitin, a group of four eccentric artists who decided to create this pink plush toy and lay it out on the Italian countryside.
This giant pink rabbit is currently resting on the Colleto Fava Mountain in Artesina Italy. It took five years to complete the massive stuffed animal.
What's the point, you might ask, of creating the biggest stuffed animal known to man? Well one of the artists said that they want the viewer to feel small, like Gulliver in Gulliver's Travels. Next to the 55 meter long rabbit, anyone would feel tiny. The rabbit's mouth is so big you can easily jump inside and be covered from head to toe. The rabbit will stay on the countryside until 2025, at which point the bunny will have decomposed. In the meantime, the artists encourage visitors to walk all over their creation, even sleep on it. If you are looking for an strange alternative to your annual vacation, this large bunny is a must see. Trust me there probably won't be many more times where you will get the chance.
