Hang around Fisherman’s Wharf long enough and a visitor might find some real interesting people. San Francisco’s Fishermans’s Wharf is not only very unique due to the variety of entertainment but the people who frequent the area.
The wharf offers a great opportunity to watch people and how they react to different situations. Small children seeing their very first live crab or lobster and the expression on their face when they sample the various seafood delicacies for the first time. Watching as people sit down in a restaurant or choose to pick up something at a vendor and find a bag of sand to sit and eat. Walking around and watching the various street people who are there to entertain the visitors.
One such person is The Skeleton Man. Stationed at a major corner, he was entertaining not only the people walking by but the traffic stopped at the lights. In some cases he was very camera shy however a couple coins in his bag and he became one of the more animated street people in the area.
The Skeleton Man, Andres Hernandez Rojo, is incredibly talented and knows how to entrain a group of unsuspecting visitors. From very small children to the older adults, his antics makes everyone laugh and adds to the Fisherman’s Wharf experience.
This is a great opportunity to get a portrait photo of a family member with one of the many unique street people. Most are accommodating however you might want to ask for permission or find out if there is a charge prior to press the shutter button. What a fun way to remember a family outing to Fisherman’s Wharf.

I am curious why you don't include slide shows in your articles???
I'm enjoying following some of Sandy's travel advice, and am awed by the photo section. She is well-traveled and insightful.
