Angela Kleis is a D.C.-area artist who primarily shoots film. Her work tends to explore comfort levels and imperfection, and she's been told more than a few times that her photos are creepy, which is just fine by her. She loves to travel and knows how to pack a camera bag for maximum gear. Angela also writes a weekly photo post for the Smithsonian Studio Arts blog and is heavily active in the local art scene.
