The Fear Haunted House opens at Navy Pier in Chicago on October 8, 2010. Zombie Army Productions presents this unique haunting experience, named one of Haunted Attraction Magazine’s Top 25 "Must See" Haunted Attractions. The Fear Haunted House at Navy Pier is located on Navy Pier next to the beer garden. The Fear is created and produced by Zombie Army Productions.
The Fear Haunted House brings the award-winning producers of Statesville Haunted Prison, City of the Dead, and Dragon’s Dome into the heart of Chicago for a third year in a row. Fear Haunted House is open on Thursdays and weekends through Halloween.
This is not your average haunt. It’s meaner. It is different from anything else you may have experienced before. The Fear Haunted House has been designed for teens and adult audiences and is not appropriate for children.
The Fear Haunted House takes you through a collection of the darkest creatures from across the globe. The captain has scoured the earth searching for and collecting the darkest of creatures. Captured, locked up, and waiting to be released on the shores of Lake Michigan, these fearsome beasts will claw through anything for their freedom, including you. It is not known why the captain has collected such evil cargo. What is known, is that you have been chosen you join his crew. Are you ready for The Fear?
New this season, the captain has added the “clown cage” to his collection. This new addition not only gives Chicago the chance to face the most feared creatures in the captain’s cargo, but increases the size of The Fear by 50%!
The Fear Haunted House is for teens and adults during the chilling evening and nighttime hours, but during the day they make the attraction more familiy friendly so children can see the house. Families can take their children to The Fear during the daytime for a lights-on, low scare, family-friendly tour of the captain’s haunted cargo. Family hours are 11a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Sunday and Columbus Day.
The Fear Haunted House is open October 8 through Halloween, Thursday through Sunday, plus Wednesday, October 27. Times are 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. Wednesdays, Thursdays and Sundays, and 6:00 - 10:00 p.m Fridays and Saturdays. Cost is $20 general admission. There is a $2 off coupon online.
