December 2009, the most wonderful time of the year, for shopping , entertainment, activities with family and loved ones, dining out and more, in downtown Seattle. Seattle has some of the best shopping, the best food, and the best entertainment in the United States. If you have not visited Seattle before, the holidays are a great time to make your list, check it twice and come to Seattle, whether you are naughty or nice. There is something for everyone in downtown Seattle.

If you are coming from out of town, you can come by rail, air or car. If you live in the suburbs, or from the east across the mountains, there are great places to stay and experience all the night-life, as well as shopping Seattle offers.

Columbia Tower Club's Annual New Year's in the Sky Celebration Participants of the event are encouraged to dress to impress for this festive occasion. This year’s theme for the event is Disco Ball, and to add to the funk the 70’s/80’s cover band Disco Ballz will have you dancing in the New Year. A palm reader and tarot card reader will also be on hand to tell you your fortune in New Year, and New Year celebrators will also be able to remember the evening by capturing special moments with the classic photo booth that will be dispensing fun-filled pictures all night long. Attendees of this year’s event will also be enjoying delightful hors d’oeuvres throughout the celebration, and lastly a champagne toast will culminate as the Space Needle New Year’s fireworks spectacle begins.
