"Quantum of Solace" opens nationwide on November 14.
I'm a big James Bond fan, so am looking forward to the newest Daniel Craig installment when it opens this month. And what better way than to get a touch of Bond than by staying in Wimco Villas' Villa La Guardia in Tuscany's Maremma coast.
The historic villa, located near a medieval village, "stars" in Quantum of Solace. It is in fact an historic Spanish tower built to protect against Saracen invasions.
This Bond-style four-bedroom winter getaway can be yours now through March 27, 2009 for the weekly rate of $10,472. For a sneak preview of the villa in the film, go to www.007.com.

Great article and suggestion. I love both Tuscany and Daniel Craig. The Maremma area is a wonderful part of Tuscany as yet undiscovered by Americans. It is definitely worth a visit!

I had never heard of the Maremma area -- I was in Tuscany nine years ago, we rented a villa (farmhouse, actually!) in Chiusi. Had a wonderful time and got hooked on Pecorino cheese from Pienza (a great little town). I will check out your Tuscan Living blog. Grazie!
Looks fabulous! Would love to head off to this part of the world.
