Ahh...there is nothing like getting something for free.   Let's face it, free is fun.  In fact, it is actually quite easy to earn free hotel stays.  In as little as two paid hotel nights, you can earn yourself a free night at nearly 5,000 hotels worldwide.  Hotel loyalty reward programs make this possible.   Although many travelers fail to take advantage of of their hotel loyalty reward programs, it's quite easy to reap the benefits.

More ways to earn free hotel nights:

  1. Purchase products through your a hotel rewards program to accumulate points.  Many hotel reward programs have their own online store, that will award you points for product purchases.   This is great during the holidays, as you can rack up points while shopping for the relatives.
  2. Accumulate and redeem reward points for "Point Break" hotels.  After you have accumulated at least 5,000 reward points, redeem them for free nights at "Point Break" hotels for only 5,000 Priority Club Reward points (rather than the typical 10,000 required Priority Club Reward points).
  3. Consolidate your reward points from different programs into your favorite reward program at www.Points.com.  This review of the Points.com's program explains the point transfer process in more detail.
