On 20 March 2010, Sacramento’s Southside Park will be throwing a TransFamilies Picnic. Hailing near and far, trans-individuals, their family and friends are all invited to what is sure to be a festive event. Bring your park shoes and a festive attitude and enjoy the day conversating at your leisure.

Located at 2115 6th St. in Sacramento, Southside Park is the perfect place for relaxation. Containing a pond, a playground, trees and plenty of space to walk, the location is sure to hold something for everyone. As for the event, this shall be held in the picnic area, located next to the unmistakable spaceship. Because the event is potluck in style, visitors are encouraged to bring food, and whilst the custodians holding the picnic are providing hotdogs and hamburgers, the guests are expected to bring the rest.

Last but not least, all those interested need merely show up. Starting at 12 PM, the event shall continue till 4 PM in the afternoon. Please show up early or late, but in all cases, come by and support the trans-community worldwide.
