Guess that joke I made about Platinum being a one and done product was a tad short-sighted, as Topps has announced Bowman Platinum Baseball (for those that don't know, Topps owns the Bowman brand). The stated hits per box will be two rookie autographs and one patch autograph. Why does that configuration sound familiar?
Anyways, the main attraction of any 2010 baseball product is going to be that kid on the DL and that kid on the Braves. Topps knows this and put them together in a dual autograph relic card that's sure to attract a lot of action on eBay, although probably not $20k action. Other hits are the Platinum Chrome autographs featuring minor league stars (all on-card) and the six-player autograph booklets, which also look oddly familiar.
Not stated in the product description but featured in the picture of the packs is the inclusion of cut autographs. Bowman Platinum is scheduled to drop in November. Check out the preview images in the slideshow below.

That dual looks sick, but I'd rather buy singles than try a box. This is bound to be hit or miss.
