If you're traveling from out of state to Connecticut or across the state with your pet it is helpful to know what hotels are pet friendly. Below is a list of hotels in 9 Connecticut cities or towns that pets are allowed and special restrictions. There is also a helpful website at the end of the article to research pet friendly hotels in other states.

Hartford:

• Crowne Plaza Hotel located at 50 Morhan Street allows pets 15 lbs and under for a non refundable $50 pet fee per stay. Call (860) 549-2400 for reservations or more details.
• Days Inn Hartford at 207 Brainard Road allows pets with a fee. Call (860) 247-3297 for more information.
• Residence Inn by Marriot Hartford is located at 924 Main Street. Pets are allowed with a $100 non-refundable sanitation fee. Call (860) 524-5550 for details.
• Holiday Inn Express is at 440 Asylum Street. Pets are allowed with a $50 fee and $50 deposit per stay.
• Hilton Hartford is located at 315 Trumbull Street. Hilton is a good hotel for larger dogs, as their maximum weight is 75 lbs. There is a $75 non-refundable fee. Call (860) 728-5751 for reservations.

Stamford:

• La Quinta Inn & Suites allows cats and dogs up to 50 lbs. No fees or deposits are required however the owner must be present or the pet crated during housekeeping service. La Quinta is located at 135 Harvard Ave. and can be reached at (203) 324-0707.
• Hilton Stamford is located at One First Stamford Place. There is a 75 lb maximum weight with a $75 non-refundable fee. Call (203) 967-2222 for additional information.
• A $45 deposit per stay is required for pets staying at Holiday Inn at 700 Main Street. For more information contact the Holiday Inn at (203) 599-0524.

Bridgeport:

•  Holiday Inn Bridgeport permits pets 20 lbs and under. Guests paying cash must pay a $50 deposit that is refundable as long as there is no damage. Holiday Inn is located at 1070 Main Street. Call (203) 334-1234 for reservations.

New London:

• The Red Roof Inn at 707 Colman Street allows one pet per room at an 80lb maximum weight. There are no fees or deposit required. They can be reached by phone at (860) 444-0001.

Danbury:

• Holiday Inn at 80 Newtown Road has a 70 lb limit for pets. A $25 non-refundable fee per night applies. They can be reached at (877) 863-4780.

Windsor Locks:

• Pets are allowed at La Quinta Inn located at 64 Ella Grasso Turnpike. Call (860) 623-3336 for more information on pet requirements.
• The Sheraton is conveniently located at Bradley International Airport. Pets are allowed; the ideal hotel when traveling by air with your pets. The Sheraton is located at 1 Bradley International Airport. They can be reached by phone at (860) 627-5311.

Enfield:

• The Red Roof Inn at 5 Hazard Ave. allows 1 pet per room with an 80 lb maximum. No fees or deposit is required. Call (860) 741-2571 for additional information and reservations.

Greenwich:

• The Delamar at Greenwich Harbor has beautiful waterfront rooms...with a cost. They are located at 500 Steamboat Road and pets are allowed. Call (203) 661-9800 for information.

Mystic:

• Econo Lodge is located at 251 Greenmanville Ave. Pets are allowed at this hotel with a fee. For fee and restriction information call (860) 536-9666.
