Some people feel guilty eating large amounts of snacks and food at a time. But what about an incentive to eat and walk at the same time? Add in New Haven's historic and scenic streets and you'll find yourself on the New Haven Culinary Walking Tour. The tour takes place this weekend on Saturday, April 25, 2009. The tour will begin at 1:45 pm. It is a 3 hour guided tour through New Haven with tasty stops along the way. Samples and surprises will be in store as you visit New Haven's culinary destinations. The cost of the walking tour is $59, rain or shine. Meet where the tour will begin at Davenport's at the top of the Omni New Haven Hotel at Yale. The walking tour is a unique way to combine your love of eating and lack of motivation to exercise. With the forecast being sunny and warm this weekend it might be a good exploration of New Haven..jpg)
If you're looking for less exercise but love cooking stop by the Iron Chef Competition at Gateway Community College on Sunday, April 26, 2009.
