- Terrorism is the topic of Peter Berg’s “The Kingdom,” a visually stunning film about an attack on U.S. interests in Saudi Arabia and four FBI investigators sent to help bring the perpetrators to justice. The movie does a good job of presenting differences between Muslim and non-Muslim cultures. Jennifer Garner, who kicks serious terrorist back side, stars, along with Jamie Foxx, Jeremy Piven and Jason Bateman.

Review: A real hoot: Quirky, snappy ‘Juno’ an unexpected surprise
- It’s a sweet/tart movie triumph with a sweetheart of a smart-alecky girl protagonist to love. You’d be hard-pressed to have a better time at the multiplex these days than with “Juno,” both the coming-of-age comedy and the title character. This may not be the most technically ambitious or meaningful film of 2007. But the unpredictable slice of life about a cantankerous yet endearing pregnant 16-year-old is the year’s most exuberant and witty picture thus far.

The action unfolds with the enrapturing grace of a Cirque de Soleil high-wire act. At the heart of the design lays the basic human confrontation, good versus bad, the latter possessing indisputably evil intent.

And he’s not letting the pressure of media attention hold back his feelings for the high-profile actress. “If you fall, you fall,” the Razorlight frontman told People. “You follow the things that you can’t resist. … That’s falling in love.” Awww!
