OZARK, Ark. --- A police officer In Ozark, Arkansas could face criminal charges after he Tasered a combative ten-year-old girl last week.
According to a police report, Officer Dustin Bradshaw was responding to the girl’s home on November 11 because the girl refused to go to bed. Bradshaw reported the girl was acting violently, even hitting and kicking officers as they tried to move her.
Bradshaw stated in the report that he "decided there was not going to be a peaceful resolution to the issue,” and told the girl she was under arrest. After receiving permission from the girl’s mother to use their Taser, the girl continued to resist the officers, Bradshaw gave the girl a light shock to her back. She immediately stopped fighting, and was carried out to the officer's patrol car.
On Wednesday, Ozark police announced Bradshaw would be suspended with pay pending an investigation.
Mayor Vernon McDaniel says he wants Arkansas State Police or the F.B.I. to look into whether the use of the Taser was proper.
"Apparently the proper policy was followed, but at the same time you still hate to see a ten-year-old Tasered," said Vernon McDaniel. "That's why we must, if at all possible, try to get an outside agency to investigate, to be fair to all parties involved."
Meanwhile, McDaniel has been talking with the local prosecuting attorney about the situation, and said a criminal complaint may have to be filed before an outside investigation can be held.
The unidentified ten-year-old girl was uninjured, and is now at the Western Arkansas Youth Shelter in Cecil.

the real story here (that's been missed) is not the tasering but the fact that nobody questions the police getting involved over a child refusing to go to bed
I've raised that question on my blog. There are two possible answers. Either it is a bizarre and perverted incident, or the officer is Mommy's boy friend. One report has the officer observing Mommy attempting to put the little girl into the tub. This implies that the 10-year-old little girl is naked. A normal police officer wouldn't get THAT involved. A more rational explanation is there exists a family-like relationship. By the way, Mommy is divorced and works as a detention officer. This is all just pure speculation. But investigators should consider this possibility as they seek to figure out what's behind this seemingly insane incident.
Like a bunch of big strong Police Officers could not take a 10 year old girl and put her in the police car.
And what her crime UR honor? She refused 2 go 2 bed! I am glad my Mom did have a tazer I would have been tazered like crazy.
Hmm. What if they had used some light pepper spray on her? Ha! They lucky she did not have a weak heart defect of something. U never kno 4 sure with tazer.
The whole problem is that the goal of US vampires is to throw as many kids as possible in prison for whatever excuse and give them draconian sentences for minor incidents like disobeying their teacher or taking a pack of gum. Whether kids are "innocent" or "guilty" is irrelevant, creating criminals out of kids is a billion dollar business for American corrupt police, prosecutors and judges. It's no coincidence that US has the highest prison population in the world. The earlier these thugs can use brutal force on kids the better. Once these small kids get into the nightmare juvenile detention system, the criminals working in the US justice nightmare start to work creating criminals out of them, hooking them on psychotropic drugs and exposing them to unrelenting violence which ruins their lives forever and makes prison a revolving door for them. There is no "justice" or democracy in the US; it is a police state and economic slave system equivalent to Soviet gulags or Communist China.
Yeah, why the heck do the police come just because a child doesn't want to go to bed?! I live in Los Angeles, and I can't get the police to come when I see someone trying to break in to the apt. next door!! I totally agree with Mark's post. This is sick. Now they want to arrest 10 year-olds who don't want to go to bed. More fodder for the juvenile detention centers which get paid for each child that gets sent there.
CRAZY!! JUST CRAZY!!!!!
