A northern Minnesota man thinks he may have photographed Bigfoot with a motion-activated trail camera. Some are impressed by the photo, while others are less enthusiastic that it depicts a real Bigfoot.
Kim Kedrowski told the Bemidji Pioneer Press that he captured the image of what looks like a tall, upright, possibly hairy creature sauntering along a trail that winds through his hunting land just north of the small town of Remer, Minnesota.
Kedrowski said the photo was captured at 7:20 p.m. on Oct. 24, which was an overcast, rainy day. He said they checked with neighbors and friends, and none of them said they had been in the area at the time of the photo.
To get some expert advice, Kedrowski contacted the Minnesota Bigfoot Web site and spoke with Don Sherman and Bob Olson of the Northern Minnesota Bigfoot Research Team. Sherman and Olson are not biologists, but are long-time amateur Bigfoot enthusiasts - and they think the photo may be the real deal.
Sherman visited the site of the photo, and based on a measurement of a sapling seen in the photo, the creature appears to be about 7 feet tall. Sherman said he has made plaster casts of Bigfoot imprints in this neck of the woods in the past, although he did not make any casts in connection with the Kedrowski photo.
Casey Kedrowski, Kim's brother, said that he and his brother were the only two people who knew where the camera was located. They think that the possibility of someone hoaxing them is remote. They also say that neither of them is pulling a fast one on the other.
For the sake of this story, I decided to show the Kedrowski photo to a panel of five people chosen at random from people here in Kittson and Roseau counties in northern Minnesota, all of them familiar with the woods and wildlife of this area. None of them are biologists or photo experts. Here is their opinion:
* Bob Spence (farmer) - "To me this very obviously looks like a guy in a two-piece snow suit. You can almost see the line of the bottom of the top piece against the leggings of the suit. And he clearly is wearing gloves. He has a hood. These guys had a human trespasser on their land, in my opinion."
* Tom Richland (pipeline worker) -"It really looks to me like a guy in a snow suit."
* Mary Pearson (restaurant worker) - "I'm a total believer in Bigfoot, and I hope we find a real one here in Minnesota some day, but this really looks to me like a person wearing a navy-blue winter suit of some kind."
* Aaron Gustafson(college student) - "So obviously not a Bigfoot. See the way the left knee almost fully extends. A real primate of this type would not be able to straighten its knee that much."
* Ken Stanley (store owner) -- "I can't believe anyone would think this is a real Bigfoot. It just looks totally fake. That's all I'm going to say."

Bigfoot schmickfoot!
fake fake fake...
Yeah, so not a big foot.. I would love for some one to find one..but this is not it.
Looks a lot like the old photos of Bigfoot. Related to the Himalayan Yeti, I wonder?
Could be a basketballer with a suite on, perhaps?
Please go to my Huttriver8 blog and read some great stories there:
Uncle Joe, what did I tell you about not shaving!?
YOU CANT TELL IF IT IS REAL OR NOT
Clearly a sham.
Wonder where sasquatch bought his gloves, Mills Fleet Farm Maybe?!?
Wonder where sasquatch bought his gloves, Mills Fleet Farm Maybe?!?
wow seriously?
That's real alright, just like Al Franken is a real politician.
THIS IS A REAL BIGFOOT
What a waist of media coverage! There is no definition of any muscle tone, too many straight lines. The arms are too short and the posture too up-right.
I find it hard to beleive that there is an eight foot ape that hasn't been discovered. Just seems a little to far fetched.
So does someone actually fund this Northern Minnesota Bigfoot Research Team? Lol
Cool
A Black Bear perhaps??
The caption under the photo taken from the Patterson/Gimlin film says the film was taken in Washington State. I was under the impression it was taken at Bluff Creek in California.
This actually looks real to me..
Sure there are minor flaws here and there.. But wth it's a primeape, I think you people are expecting way too much out of it.
Got something to say?
