Preview of Wednesday's Top Chef Masters - When tempers flare!

Top Chef Masters Bravo TV

Wednesday's episode of Top Chef Masters looks like it's going to be a doozy! On the last epiosde before the finale, the four remaining chefs will compete in one of the toughest quickfires - the taste challenge. How good are their palates? I would expect perfection from these Top Chef Masters or you can bet their reputations might suffer a hit if they can't identify ingredients!

The four remaining chefs are Michael Chiarello, Rick Bayless, Hubert Keller, and by a hair, Anita Lo. The chefs look a bit winded by this round, making you wonder how much time they really spend in the kitchen these days as you can see somewhat of a sigh of relief amongst them when hearing they will be spared the anxiety inducing 30 minute race.

Should be interesting to see which of the chefs land on top and which land on bottom. Whoever misfires and ends up on bottom will have a tough mountain to climb as the past has shown the the quickfire winner more often than not prevails.

Onto the elimination challenge where the chefs will be preparing a buffet for 200 Hollywood insiders. Now the interesting part is that they will each have to hire a staff to help them put on the buffet.

Guess who the staff is! Of course they include favorite contestants from past seasons of Top Chef.

Who would you choose? Jamie from season 5, Elia from season 2? Would you choose hot tempered Dale from season 4? Or how about arch nemesis from the burger challenge, Spike from season 4?

Each chef has a chance to interview all of the 12 contestants to choose three to be a part of his/her team.

Judging from the clip below, some teams don't mix and match too well. Is the pressure getting to you Chiarello? I for one cannot wait to see the brawl a happening on Top Chef Masters tomorrow in the "fridge fight" of the century between Dale Talde and Michael Chiarello.

"For the first 20 years of my career I ate 3 Dales for breakfast" - Chef Michael Chiarello.

"Whatchya gonna do about it!" - Dale Talde

Can't wait to find out!
