Tonight on the "Shark Tank" season finale, there's a bidding war over shares in Jump Forward, a startup with a mobile application that helps athletes, parents, coaches and college administrators navigate the complicated recruiting process. Will the sharks eat each other alive over it?
There's also a urologist who invented a golf club/urine receptacle, but we're guessing that one might not go very far.
Here's a sneak peak at the Jump Forward bidding war:

Liz, thanks for writing about this - I'm waiting to watch it again on ABC - what did you think about it? I just checked out JumpForward - turns out they have a twitter account @jumpforward and are taking time to respond to us lol :)
I thought JumpForward did a GREAT job on Shark Tank. I went to the website www.jumpforward.com and its fantastic. They are really revolutionizing the college recruiting process.
I wish I knew how much value Robert and Kevin are going to add to that business. Probably a lot. Either way, those founders seemed pretty sharp. I'm sure they're gonna make jumpforward a really successful.
I'm betting the deal never got solidified. It looks like some of the technology is part of a strategic partnership with ifbyphone, which depending on that deal, makes the "unique" aspect of jumpforward more tenuous in its ownership and ability to be exploited.
I don't know if you visited the JumpForward blog (jumpforward.wordpress.com) but the announcement of their partnership with ifbyphone happened WAY before any rumblings of Shark Tank. I think JumpForward used this as a strategic partnership from the beginning. Seems like good business to me.
Guys, I saw Jump Forward on ABC. There is already a service - beRecruited.com - that does the same thing with more than 700,000 subscribers. Jump Forward is not even close to being the leader in this industry/category...and got good $$$. Crazy.
It's also my favorite in that episode, with the popularity they got from the show and the money they bagged as budget for the project is enough to be on top of the competitors that Jack mentioned. For a complete recap of each episode visit www.SharkTankTVShow.com
where can I see the shark tank video clip of Jump forward?? any guess
