Tom Wisdom - one of the most versatile actors out there that isn't a household name, has played a wide array of characters throughout his acting career. What would the fans like to see him do next?
His popularity hit the sky when he played Spartan warrior Astinos in the 2007 blockbuster film, 300. He was not a newcomer though; he has been a professional actor since the early nineties and had his first appearance in front of a camera in the 1994 made-for-TV flick, Good King Wenceslas alongside the late Jonathan Brandis.
Apart from these, he was popular in the UK in the early 2000's for his roles as Tom Ferguson on Coronation Street and Marco Bailey on Mile High. He has played a gay man with anger issues (Suspicion), a bit of a rebel in the recent Poirot: Three Act Tragedy, and a theater student in The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants 2. One of his sexiest roles was also his most silent, as DJ "Midnight" Mark in the 2009 film, Pirate Radio, a role that Tom has stated he loved playing.
Last year, when we asked him what kind of role he would like to play in the future, he stated:
"I would love to play a down and dirty rockstar! Along the lines of Midnight Mark but with all the bad stuff thrown in! Something darker than I have done before but still with the leather trousers. I also loved the physical aspect of 300 and would love to do more fighting. I thoroughly enjoyed killing people."
So fans, what would you like to see him do next since he has covered just about every type of character already?

I would love to see him in a Rom-Com! And I recently read "The Host" by Stephenie Meyer and think he would be perfect for the character Jared.
Great article, can't wait to see him in whatever he does next. I would love to see him as Midnight Mark & absolutely loved, loved, loved him as Astinos in 300, so another role like that would be excellent.
I thought he would be great in The Host as well, but as Ian O'Shea. He is described as being tall, pale, and with blue eyes. Bring him on as Ian!!
Yes! As Jared in The Host!!!! I think he'll be perfect for the role! I'll cry if he gets the role. And if he does an American film, I wonder what his American accent will sound like.
Yes,let him do something with leather trousers! And we loved the physical aspect of 300,too!
