Organizing with Gladware

In this drawer three rectangle and three square containers make for a perfect fit.

Organizing with Gladware®.

Admit it, somewhere in your kitchen is a junk drawer, where a wide variety of items such as tape, glue, clips, pens, keys, rubber bands, tools, paper, etc. reside.

The junk drawer is a mess and drives you crazy. More often than not when you are seeking an item, you no longer even open the junk drawer to look for it, as you can't muster up the energy for the search and you are embarrassed by the drawer's tornado appearance.

One of the best thrifty tools I have found for organizing drawers are plastic Gladware containers. In my junk drawer the containers hold stray and alike items, and packages of oatmeal, crackers, nuts, etc. Additionally, they keep items from shifting every time you open or close a drawer.

Gladware is handy for holding loose packets of oatmeal, crackers, nuts, etc.

Gladware containers can be purchased at most local grocery stores and range in price from a 50 cents - $4 per container depending on size. Watch for sales and buy in bulk, and use in other drawers in your home.

Another benefit of using Gladware containers to organize...if the day comes and you desperately need a container to store food leftovers, you will have plenty on hand. Just make sure you replace the container soon or a new junk drawer will quickly emerge.
