Have you ever wanted to appear on a soap opera? Well, now's your chance! Guiding Light is holding an open casting call at Universal Studio on Saturday, March 7, from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Guiding Light star Murray Barlett, who plays Cyrus, and casting director Rob Decina will be looking for new talent right at Universal Orlando Resort. Everyone is welcome to attend, both actors and non-actors, and all will be considered for work as extras or for small speaking roles. All ages, ethnicities, and genders are welcome. Those who are chosen will appear in episodes filmed during an on-location shoot later this month.
Guiding Light will conduct the filming from March 16 to 21 throughout Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, and CityWalk. The episodes that are filmed during that time will air in mid to late April of 2009 on the CBS daytime drama, so tune in and you just might see some familiar places and faces.
