Life is Company! Love is Company! Wiess Tabletop Theater at Rice University's production of Stephen Sondheim's vignette musical Company opens Thursday, March 11. Told in scenes, not in chronological order, this show follows a single character through the lives of his friends, all of whom have come together to throw him a surprise 35th birthday party. Through this, Robert, a bachelor, weighs the pros and cons of marriage based on the hilarious and sobering realities of his married friends' lives and the differing experiences he has with three of his girlfriends.

The show runs through March 20 with performances on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. All performances begin at 8 pm.

Tickets are available for purchase at the door and can be reserved by emailing tj.burleson (at) rice . edu. Tickets are $5 for Rice University students, $7 for Rice staff, faculty, and alumni, and $10 for all others.
