Mind boggling illusions and rib-tickling comedy are coming to the Ormond Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday, September 24, 2011. In the Amazing World of Illusions, illusionist Kendrix will be featured in this family-friendly show scheduled to take the stage at 7:00 pm. Other performers include the talented Glen Foster and award-winning Jeff Alan.
Performing a Las Vegas style variety act show, Kendrix performs cutting-edge illusions coupled with dance. His artful mastery of breathtaking magic bends the rules of logic and muddles the boundary between imagination and reality.
Glen Foster's comedic mind reading act will entertain audience members of all ages along with his fun magic stunts. He is a veteran performer and has a long list of Fortune 500 clients. He's performed upon numerous cruise ships including the maiden voyage of The Disney Dream, Disney's newest cruise ship.
Special guest Jeff Alan received the first ever Karrell Fox Award for comedy magic from the International Brotherhood of Magicians. The award honors magician Karrell Fox who was one of the most influential magicians of the 20th century and is given only when a performance is recognized by the International Brotherhood of Magicians as meeting exceptionally high standards. Jeff Alan is sure to delight the audience with his skillful magic and lighthearted performance.
Reserved tickets to the Amazing World of Illusions are $10.00 each and may be purchased at the Box Office window or over the phone at (386) 676-3375.
