A relationship going backwards, in more ways than one.  Centerstage will present The Last Five Years beginning on February 11.

The Last Five Years will take place at the Jewish Community Center of Louisville, located at

3600 Dutchmans Lane
.  Opening night is Thursday, February 11 at 7:30 p.m.  Shows on February 13, 15, 18, and 20 will also take place at 7:30 p.m.  Presentations on Sundays, February 14 and 21, will take place at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. each day.

Tickets for the show are $20 for non-members, $16 for JCC members, and $16 for students and senior citizens.  Tickets can be purchased at the Jewish Community Center or by calling 502-459-0660.  More information about The Last Five Years can be found by going to the Centerstage website.

The Last Five Years features a couple going through five years of marriage, including their meeting and the break-up.  The twist is while one character's story is presented in chronological order, the other goes in reverse, from break-up to meeting.

Jason Robert Brown wrote the production, which went off-Broadway at the MinettaLaneTheatre in 2002.  For the show, Brown earned two Drama Deak awards for outstanding music and lyrics.

After The Last Five Years, Centerstage will present The Wizard of Oz in March and Curtains in May.
