Roger for Keith

Back in the 1980's Roger Daltrey recorded a song for his fallen mate Keith Moon.  "Under A Raging Moon" is a powerful tribute to the late great Moon. The song was written by John Parr.

The original song contains a powerful drum tribute played by seven drummers.  The drummers in their order of appearance are as follows: Martin Chambers, Roger Taylor, Cozy Powell, Stewart Copeland, Zak Starkey, Carl Palmer and Mark Brzezicki (Zak Starkey also joins in the outro).

The original version of the song can be found on Daltrey's sixth solo album, also titled Under a Raging Moon, which was released in September 1985.

Below is a live version from You Tube, recorded some time in the 1980's, performed by Daltrey.   Unfortunately, it does not contain the extended drum tribute. However, it still is a powerful performance.
