Dancing with the Stars costumer Randall Christensen is weighing in on the Elisabeth Hasselbeck-Erin Andrews saga.

The Emmy Award winning costume designer responded Wednesday to The View co-host Elisabeth Hasselbeck's comments that the man who stalked and videotaped Erin Andrews without her knowledge could have avoided jail time by just waiting to see her skimpy outfits on Dancing with the Stars.

Dear Elisabeth Hasselbeck: Sexual assault fashion victims need your help!

While victims' rights advocates reacted to Hasselbeck's comments with outrage and disgust and Andrews herself told People Magazine that she was "shocked" by Hasselbeck's statement, Christensen says he's taking it as "a challenge".

"Watch out now," he warned Hasselbeck. "I am taking this as a challenge, because trust me, I could do more with her."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck offered a weepy public apology to Erin Andrews on Wednesday morning's The View Hot Topics segment, stating that she had felt lousy about her comments later and that she would: "use my words more mindfully-like I try to do, to build people up, not break them down." Hasselbeck stated she also called Andrews to personally apologize.

Still, hell hath no fury like a ballroom dancing reality show costume designer scorned.

"Hello, did the woman just crawl out of a cave?" Christensen told StyleList.com. "Has she seen the show? The costumes are all sexy...Erin isn't wearing anything more or less than anyone. If anything, I've been tame with her because the woman would look sexy in a sack."

Erin Andrews told People Magazine she was "disappointed" in Hasselbeck's statements. "The thing that I was most upset about is I felt she was mocking a situation. As a mother and a woman, I’m disappointed she went there.”

I think it's wonderful she wears whatever costumes and doesn't concern herself w/perverts... She's enjoying her experience on DWTS.... It's GR8!!!

This is a publicity stunt to generate some excitement for Erin Andrews' failing career. Her ESPN contract is not being renewed, and her performances on Dancing with the Has-Beens have been less than stellar. The woman is irritating, whiney, and talentless. The costumes are designed to detract from her poorly co-ordinated feet and bowed legs. Give us all a break and go back to cheerleading, Erin. At least we won't have to hear your nasal pitched voice.

Umm. The only reason ANYONE knows Erin Andrews' name is because of the whole hotel camera ordeal. I hope she realizes that.

Tomas, I didn't know that you worked for ESPN and knows whether her contract is going to be renewed. I wonder how you know if this was a stunt to get publicity. She was asked to do DWTS before video pervert ordeal ever happened. Until you know all the facts you should keep your thoughts to yourself.
