Elisabeth Hasselbeck found something nice to say about President Barack Obama, and it didin't even take her that long to think of it.
Hasselbeck dredged up a meager compliment for President Obama during her appearance on Tuesday night's The Joy Behar Show. The View co-hosts talked politics in a much more lighthearted tone than they had during their squabble during Tuesday morning's "Hot Topics" segment.
Joy Behar showed America that hardcore Republicans and Democrats can make nice-nice with a little bit of effort (and creative lighting and camera angles). Behar prompted Elisabeth Hasselbeck to come up with "one nice thing" to say about Obama in exchange for a compliment of her own for George W. Bush.
Hasselbeck dodged any sign of political support President Obama, but begrudgingly admitted he was okay at sports. "He did some great commentary at the games this weekend. At the hoops--the college basketball games? He did a good job."
Joy Behar responded with a bizarre statement of support for George W. Bush: "I love the way jeans look on him. He looks better in jeans than even Scott Brown."
The View late night redux went on to feature discussions on Elisabeth Hasselbeck's 'Gluten-free diet' book, her ability to spot how creepy John Edwards was before anyone else on The View and her decade old performance on Survivor: The Australian Outback.
"You think you're going to move me on politics," smirked Hasselbeck as The Joy Behar Show rolled cliips of her undergoing physical endurance tests on Survivor. "I stood on a log for eight and a half hours. I'm not going anywhere."
