Elin Nordegren to divorce Tiger Woods; media outlets thrilled
Thursday’s announcement that Elin Nordegren will file for divorce from Tiger Woods may be rough news for the pro-golfer turned pro-pimp, but media outlets are eating up the Tiger Woods divorce news with a spoon. Good Morning America dished out news that the Elin Nordegren-Tiger Woods divorce was 100% on Thursday morning and reported that Elin Nordegren is currently auditioning divorce attorneys.
Whether it be photos of Elin Nordegren without her wedding ring on or dirt on the latest porn star to be named as one of Tiger Woods mistresses, searches for Tiger Woods scandal-related content on the web have dominated “Google Hot Trends” for a full two and a half weeks.

On Thursday morning’s The View “Hot Topics” segment, Joy Behar told her co-hosts that despite how sick everyone claims to be of hearing about Tiger Woods, on The Joy Behar Show, it’s accepted as understood that Tiger Woods scandal updates will lead off every episode.
“On my other show, if we drop Tiger we’re in trouble. That’s what people want to hear about—on that show, on my show. Every night we’re like, let’s find a new angle—now it’s about infidelity, now it’s about the Accenture dropping him, now it’s about the wife leaving. Every single night.”
Then Joy Behar compared the Tiger Woods scandal obsession to another sick and twisted American past time: soap operas. “It’s a continuing soap opera, and people like that," said Joy Behar. “They want to know what’s going to happen next, and what’s next.”
At this rate, Tiger Woods’ long lost and never-before-named evil twin will need to return from the dead and sweep Elin Nordegren off her feet to keep this runaway media train rolling. But, of course, stranger things have happened.

She should divorce him! He has hurt her and his children. I am 63 years old and I have never gotten over my father being unfaithful. Neither has my mother and she is 86. He never apogolized even on his death bed. I was 17 and it still affects me.
