The View kicked off its 14th season Tuesday morning with the return of Barbara Walters after her open heart surgery.

Walters (80) left the show in May 2010 to undergo open heart surgery.

"I feel wonderful," said Walters of her recovery.

"A lot of women I know are worried about the scarring," said The View moderator Whoopi Goldberg.  "Will you be wonderful and show us your scar Barbara?"

"If you want to see my scar?  You are looking at it," said Walters. The View shrews huddled around their leader and peered at her chest.  There was no discernible mark peeking out underneath the host's smart red suit.

"I thought that was cleavage," said Behar ogling Walters.

"You do not see it!" said Walters.  "I think it's because I was in good health, so my skin bounced back."

Barbara Walters named and thanked all of the doctors and nurses on her open heart surgery team.

Walters strongly encouraged all women to see a cardiologist to get a "baseline" for their hearts."What happens is the doctors literally saw down your chest and open it up," said Barbara. "They hold your heart in their hand."

Walters will discuss her surgery at length on Wednesday's The View.

I can't believe her skin "bounced back" at her age.
