Updated: Everyone wants to know how they did it: How did Michaele and Tareq Salahi sweep past some folks at the state dinner? I mean, we know our girls have some mad skillz, but this seems to be more serious than the typical housewife faux pas. Did our beloved Bravo cameramen follow them into the White House? (But, Ricky, I wanna be in the show!) The NY Daily News actually has a map tracing their movements and The United States Secret Service is actively investigating the situation. And, Andy Cohen thought an Atlanta Reunion show was something to worry about.
Posing with marines; more smiles, posing and sweeping walks from here to there; photo ops with White House Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel and Vice President Joe Biden; and possibly dinner in the tent with the President and First Lady! Is this a dangerous situation? Can the housewives be trusted? (Don't answer that.)
A fellow, "Examiner," to be specific, the "Michelle Obama Examiner" thinks that Bravo should cease filming (GASP) while the Secret Service investigation continues.
What a mess! What do you think? Are the Real Housewives of DC a security threat?

-- "they're reality show people!!"
A statement by Bravo today said that the DC Housewives producer, Half Yard Productions, was "under the impression" that the Salahis had been invited to the dinner.
The “Housewives” cast has not been finalized. Michaele Salahi is under consideration as a cast member; as such, Half Yard Productions were filming the Salahis on that day. Half Yard was only aware that per the Salahis they had been invited as guests.
The White House has already confirmed that the couple were not invited.
