Jim Morrison lit our fires, now you can light his picture, a pixel at a time. Light A Pixel.com is a memorial website where fans can light a pixel on a picture of their favorite star and leave a message. Besides Jim Morrison, there are memorials for Elvis, Janis Joplin, Jimi Hendrix, Bruce Lee, JFK, John Lennon, River Phoenix, Ted Kennedy (who has more pixels lit than his brother), James Brown, Patrick Swayze, James Dean,even Dimebag Darrell, and a whole host of other stars, and you can also suggest memorials for other stars.
Light a pixel was created by Ariel Demi, who after Michael Jackson died thought it would be a good way for fans to pay to tribute to Jackson, “I figured there is a void for fans who want to pay tribute from anywhere in the world. In this simple but moving way fans pay tribute to their favorite stars, the messages left for the stars are heartfelt and moving. Hi Jim. Yes, I believe The Doors did play their last gig with Jim at The Warehouse. They played once more after his death. I was unable to attend either time due to school nights. The rule was firm- no concerts during school!
