Marc Chagall's America Windows

The beloved Marc Chagall’s America Windows have returned to their proper home at the Art Institute of Chicago.

After restoration and archival research taking five years, the stained glass work which debuted in 1977 has been placed at the east end of the Rubloff building where it has been embraced by musuem-goers and served as a point to meet up with others for three decades.

The famous windows were made even more famous by the movie, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off,  starring Matthew Broderick and the city of Chicago in 1986.
