Father and daughter team Steven and Allie were eliminated from "The Amazing Race" season 16 on episode nine. The team began this leg in first place, but after getting stuck in traffic early in the day, things just couldn't seem to go right for the team.

Jet and Cord were team number one at the end of this leg after an amazing run that included a Speed Bump only they had to complete. Their prize was a trip to Maui and the knowledge that they are the only team to have ever finished last at one leg, completed a Detour, Speed Bump and Road Block and ended up first at the next leg.
Detour
For this leg of the race, the teams traveled to Malaysia. Even though the teams left the pit stop at different times, there was only boat to take them to the airport, so all of the teams departed for their next country at the same time.
When the teams arrived in Malaysia, they headed for Snake Temple and their first challenge. At the time, Brent and Caite were in first place. But Dan and Jordan had an insane taxi driver and were the first to arrive at the Detour.

For the Detour, the teams had to either climb 153 steps carrying heavy traditional sticks or walk 120 feet balancing a 32 foot pole on their head. Jet and Cord got stuck going to the Detour when their taxi left without them. I'm pretty sure it left with Dan and Jordan, but it is hard to be positive. A local called a taxi for Jet and Cord, but they had to wait an extra five minutes for it to arrive sending them to last place.
Brent and Caite and Carol and Brandy were the first teams to arrive to their Detour - the stair climb - and Jet and Cord, funny enough, were the first team to arrive at their Detour - the balancing challenge. Everyone else was stuck in traffic. Louie and Michael stayed in the car, but Steve and Allie and Dan and Jordan decided to try to make it on foot. Of course, that was a horrible idea because they had no idea where they were going. It didn't take long for Louie and Michael to pass them, so the other two teams just decided to follow the car as far as they could.
Jet and Cord's Speed Bump
Because Jet and Cord were last but not eliminated at the last leg, they had to perform a speed bump this leg. Lucky for them, they completed their Detour long before any of the other teams finished their Detours. In fact, they were starting the Speed Bump before two teams had reached the Detour.
Jet and Cord's Speed Bump told them to travel to a tropical spice garden. They needed to find the woman mashing spices for tea, match the spice in her bowl to one of the tea pots and serve the tea to a nearby meditating guru.

It only took Jet and Cord two tries to get the right tea, and they were off to their next clue. At that time, not one of the other teams had completed the Detour. Dan and Jordan and Steve and Allie hadn't even found the Detour, yet.
Road Block
At the clue box, Jet and Cord learned about their Road Block. To receive the Road Block clue, the teams had to smash coconuts in search of a coconut with a colored center, and then use a piece of that coconut to create and offering for a guru.
When Jet and Cord began their Road Block, Brent and Caite, Carol and Brandy and Michael and Louie were just finishing up their Detour. Steve and Allie had just arrived at the balancing Detour, but after two failed attempts, they were out on the street searching for a taxi to take them to the other Detour.

Dan and Jordan and Steve and Allie did eventually make it to the Detour, but everyone was long gone by them.
Brent and Caite, Brandy and Carol and Michael and Louie all ended up at the Road Block at the same time.
