Trojans shot vs. Bruins shot
To celebrate one of tonight's great PAC-10 NCAA match-ups: two team-themed, layered tequila shots - using the team colors.
In the first corner, we have the USC Trojans shot - cardinal and gold. In the second corner, we have the UCLA Bruins shot - baby blue and yellow.
Both of these shots rely on layering. One way to do this is to flip a bar spoon over, tip it into the glass, and gently pour each layer. This technique will help you to avoid mixing the colors.
These shots are sweet - and delicious! I recommend following each with another shot of tequila, which will help balance out the sweetness. Recipe cards for both of these drinks are below in the slideshow.
