San Diego Chargers vs. Denver Broncos - NFL team tequila shots

Charger shot vs. Broncos shot
Chargers shot vs. Broncos shot

To celebrate one of today's great NFL match-ups: two team-themed, layered tequila shots - using the team colors.

In the first corner, we have the San Diego Chargers shot - blue and gold. In the second corner, we have the Denver Broncos shot - blue and orange.

Both of these shots rely on layering blue curacao on the top. One way to do this is to flip a bar spoon over, tip it into the glass, and gently pour the blue curacao over the hump of the spoon. This technique will help you to avoid mixing the colors.

These shots are sweet - but delicious. I recommend following each with another shot of tequila, which will help balance out the sweetness. Recipe cards for both of these drinks are below in the slideshow.
