Halloween cocktail - Tequila Tootsie Roll

Halloween is better with cocktails. Here's a ghostly treat that tastes a little bit like a root beer tootsie roll.

It also contains two liqueurs: Creme de Cacao and Jagermeister - perfect for liqueur month at Examiner.com.

Be sure to follow the directions: you do not want to shake the drink with the ginger ale and/or club soda in the shaker! (Guess what happens?)

Tequila Tootsie Roll

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 oz Republic tequila reposado
• 1/2 oz Jagermeister (or other anise-flavored liqueur)
• 1/4 oz Creme de cacao (or other chocolate-flavored liqueur)
• 1/4 oz Lemon juice
• Top with ginger ale and club soda
   

Directions

1. Combine tequila, jagermeister, creme de cacao, and lemon juice into a cocktail shaker half-filled with ice.
2. Shake and strain into a tall glass filled with ice.
3. Top with ginger ale and club soda (about half and half).
4. Garnish with two cherries.
