What could be Baghdatis biggest win of his career, is Federers toughest loss of the year.

The BNP Paribas Open is turning into a disastrous tournament for some of the top seeds in the men and womens draws.

Baghdatis offered Federer a prize of early exit by taking Federer out 5-7,7-5,7-6.

This match was all fans could wish for. unfortunately for Federer fans, his run at the title is over and its off to prepare for Miami.

Baghdatis has been know for his strong desire and heart of a lion who used all he had today to beat Federer after saving 3 match points.

This is by far the biggest stunner of the year leaving the tournament up for grabs.

Could it be Roddick, Nadal, Murray, Djokovic or maybe Baghdatis can take the momentum from this win and make a run for the main prize.

For Federer fans, he will be back and these losses can happen. Federer just didn't want it to be today. He is left wondering why and not to happy with the loss.

Baghdatis on the other hand could not be happier. In the previous 6 meetings between the twp players, Federer had never lost. "Seven is my lucky number,"I don't know what to say.

I'm very happy. It's an amazing win for me", Baghdatis stated after the match.

Next up for the Cypriot is Spaniard Tommy Robredo.
