Kevin Jonas showed up at his girlfriend's house in New Jersey, got on one knee and popped the question. And Danielle Deleasa said "yes", getting herself engaged to one of the most famous siblings on the planet.
This leaves Nick and Joe as the only available Jonas Brothers. There is still hope for fans.
Kevin Jonas and his brothers form a super succesful rock band, Jonas Brothers, and star in the Disney Channel TV show Jonas.
The happy couple met in the Bahamas two years ago, and it was Kevin who had to pursue Danielle, after seeing her at the beach with a rose in her hair. According to People.com, where the news was revealed exclusively, Danielle Deleasa did not even know who the Jonas Brothers were when she met Kevin. And that might be exactly the reason why they get along so well, the fact that they fell in love with who they are as individuals, no celebrity or million dollar endorsements involved.
As is well known, all Jonas brothers wear purity rings and endorse values like practicing sexual abstinence until marriage. So, does the Jonas family approve of the wedding plans? According to a statement released by them, they absolutely do: "Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage. Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family's celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Thank you for all of your support."
And what about the proposal? Was he nervous? According to People, Kevin said, "It was tough performing last night, knowing that I was going to ask the biggest question in my life to the most amazing girl in the world."
