Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew is a VH1 show that debuted on January 10, 2008. Entering its 4th season, the show is hosted by Dr. Drew Pinsky and his staff as they treat celebrities for a variety of addictions and behavioral issues.
Dr. Drew Pinsky is a board certified internist and addiction medicine specialist. He is the Assistance Clinical Professor of Psychiatry at the Keck School of Medicine at the University of Southern California , staff member at Huntington Memorial Hospital and is a private practitioner. Born David Drew Pinsky on September 4, 1958, Dr. Drew rose to recognition with the 1995 radio show Loveline. The radio show was picked up by MTV and brought Dr. Drew before an audience of millions. Before starting Celebrity Rehab, Dr. Drew Pinsky appeared on Big Brother, Strictly Sex with Dr. Drew and Strictly Dr. Drew.
He also produced several spinoffs from Celebrity Rehab, these include Sex Rehab and Sober House. Dr. Drew serves as the executive producer of Celebrity Rehab along with John Irwin, Howard Lapides, Damian Sullivan and Brad Kulman.
Celebrity Rehab takes place at the Pasadena Recovery Center and features Dr. Drew and his staff members Shelly Sprague, Bob Forrest, and Loeshia Zevair.
