Each year we seem to be moving further away from the old television schedule of all series beginning their season in September. Even more interesting is that this year there are many winter premieres in December, a month which has normally been known for repeats and holiday specials.
Get ready to adjust your DVR settings for the many changes to the prime time television schedule this winter (not included are returns of series that only took a month or less off for the holidays):

Luckily, Castle is only taking a short break. It will air another new episode Monday, December 7th and then be back on January 4th.
