Cast of Royal Pains from the USA Network website
Have you checked out the hot new television series on the USA Network yet? You might be interested to know that it not only takes place on Long Island, but it is actually filmed there also. And now that it has been renewed, who knows when you might catch a glimpse of some of the stars around town.
For those of you that haven't seen it yet, Royal Pains has a great premise. Hank (Mark Feuerstein), a doctor, loses his job at a hospital in Brooklyn and goes to the Hamptons with his brother (Paulo Costanzo) for the weekend. While at a party, Hank saves the life of a billionaire and becomes a "concierge doctor" for the Hamptons rich. Rounding out the cast are Reshma Shetty, Jill Flint, Christine Ebersole and Campbell Scott.
Royal Pains is filmed on location all over New York City and Long Island. Scenes have been filmed at OHEKA Castle in Huntington, Caumsett Historic State Park and at Old Westbury Gardens. Of course, numerous scenes are filmed in the Hamptons themselves.
Royal Pains premiered on June 4, 2009 to positive reviews. It is the number one new original series on cable in 2009. There are only a few episodes of season one, which airs Thursday nights at 10:00 on USA, left. Espisodes 4 - 7 can be watched either on the USA Network website or Hulu.com, but I haven't been able to find the first three episodes. However, the Royal Pains DVD is bound to be out in plenty of time before season 2, for new viewers to completely catch up with this wonderful new show.

I love the show and all the characters other than Hank's brother. He is incredibly annoying, immature and a real jerk. Hank needs to stop allowing him to be conceited and stupid. None of the other characters can ever accept him. The writing needs to change for him. If the show fails, it will be because of that character.
Bill, I really enjoyed Paulo Costanzo as Joey's nephew on the now defunct Joey. But I agree that his character is somewhat annoying on Royal Pains. I don't think it is the actor's fault though. They just need to tone down the writing of his character.
No new episodes until NEXT SUMMER!
I am devastated. USA needs to push aside another series and get these guys back by January at least!!!

This is the best show on tv. as for the brother,be patient, the charactor is evolving and will be great in season 2. You just wait dude.
First time I heard the term, Manny, as a male Nanny. Love the show. I live near Oheka Castle and been there many times. Definitely not the Hamptons. But thats Hollywood.
